  • Comprehensive Examination
All of our patients receive a comprehensive examination to determine current oral health, identify problems or areas of concern, screen for dental disease and oral cancer and identify patient concerns and needs. At this appointment any necessary information concerning health and dental history is gathered including, full mouth x-rays, periodontal and oral cancer screening, dental conditions, esthetic concerns and any other data deemed necessary to accurately render a diagnosis. This allows a comprehensive treatment plan and approach to be generated to address dental needs.

  • Digital X-Rays
Digital dental X-Rays replace film and allow better images and diagnostic ability while utilizing less radiation than traditional film. These digital images of the teeth, bones, and surrounding soft tissues screen for and help identify problems with the teeth, mouth, and jaw. Digital images can show cavities, hidden dental structures (such as wisdom teeth,) and bone loss that cannot be seen during a visual examination.

    Tooth Colored Restorations
Tooth fillings colored to look like a natural tooth are known as composite resin dental fillings and are made of a dental resin. Composite resin dental fillings are strong, durable, and make for a very natural looking smile. These resins are placed directly in or on the tooth in a single visit.

    Periodontal Care
Periodontal disease is the leading cause of tooth loss in adults and affects almost all adults at some time in their lives. The dentists and hygienists will look for signs of the disease and recommend treatment and home care regimens to control the problem.

  • Diagnodent Laser
This diagnostic tool utilizes a laser light to detect the presence of decay in a tooth. The accuracy of this device allows the dentist to detect problems in the earliest stages and recommend minimal treatment to resolve the problem.

  • Onlays and Crowns
Grinding your teeth, an improper bite, age, fillings and tooth decay can all be contributing factors in the wearing down, cracking or breakage of your teeth. Dental crowns cover the entire visible surface of your affected tooth and increase strength, durability and stability.

  • Implant Coordination and Restoration
The implant is an anchor for a naturally appearing replacement tooth or teeth. Implants are great for replacing missing teeth. Implants are not only used to replace one tooth. People missing most, if not all of their teeth benefit greatly as well.

Cosmetic dentistry is more than just creating beautiful smiles; it is a state of mind, which guides us in all aspects of our dentistry. Our art is reflected not only when we aid in creating a gorgeous healthy smile, the concept of esthetics and beauty permeates into every procedure we accomplish. Esthetic dentistry can encompass many types of care. Some patients may desire to have veneers to change the shape, color and position of their teeth, while other patients may need to have bleaching performed to brighten their smile. We can also replace old, discolored restorations in the back of the mouth with tooth colored resins or porcelains. Patients with less noticeable small chips and cracks can have their smile revitalized by utilizing tooth colored resins and polishing adjustments to balance the smile. In our office, each patient is special and we will work with you to determine the most appropriate pathway to reach your smile goals.
